English in context is an English school based in Neuchâtel specialised in teaching in context.

Created in 2017 by Camille Sickert and Gordon Reynolds, English in context is a dynamic school that constantly develops new content and tailor-made solutions to improve your level of English in a relaxed atmosphere.

Camille

Leads the company with passion since 2010. It is by surfing on technologies that she piloted the digitalization of our "In Context" teaching method to allow anyone, anywhere, to improve their communication skills in English.

Gordon

Teaching genius, outstanding creator and author of two educational novels, positions himself as the pioneer of teaching in context with 40 years of teaching experience.

2021

Launch of the PEP Videos

With a database of over 10'000 videos, we are opening a new service for short videos sent on WhatsApp, to offer a simple, very cheap and accessible solution from an application that everyone opens hundreds of times a day.

The e-learning platform is online

Our"Campus Online" brings over 30 years of teaching and content together, adapted to new technologies. With more than 1,000 hours of content, it is a complete method for learning English in context that allows anyone, anywhere in the world, to improve their English level.

2019

Webstar becomes English in context Sàrl

With the support of the economic promotion of the canton of Neuchâtel and the Confederation, English in context specializes in online teaching and restructures all the contents of the mobile applications to make a complete method for learning English for teachers, companies and individuals.

12 mobile applications available online

Available on Google Play and Apple Store, these 12 apps offer videos and games, to learn English in a fun way. Each app focuses on a specific aspect of English.

2015

Camille discovers the "In Context" method used by Gordon

Seduced by this method, Camille embarks Gordon's creativity in the creation of online content. Their complementarity became their driving force and at that moment, they start creating videos for the students of the WebStar school.

2010

Publication of two novels

From his creative soul comes an author, Gordon Reynolds writes and publishes two educational novels, which will be sold worldwide. Gordon has positioned himself as a pioneer in contextual learning.

2004

Creation of the school

Gordon creates his own school in Sierre (Valais), named WebStar School of English, where he teaches English in context.
